Born of Osiris has officially announced the departure of longtime guitarist Lee McKinney, who joined the band in 2007. While the band has not disclosed specific reasons for the split, they expressed their best wishes for McKinney's future endeavors.
In the interim, the band has enlisted Scott Carstairs of Fallujah as a temporary touring guitarist.
To fill the position permanently, Born of Osiris is holding open auditions for a new touring guitarist. The requirements for applicants are as follows: Metal Anarchy

Despite the lineup change, Born of Osiris remains active and is currently on a European headline tour. They have also announced that their new album, Through Shadows, will be released on July 11th.
